This glossary is related to my field of study. These are words used in finance.

the wealth, whether in money or property, owned or employed in business by an individual, firm, corporation, etc.
Economy
noun
the management of the resources of a community, country, etc., especially with a view to its productivity.
Example: the country's economy is going well

noun
the degree of probability of such loss; the amount that the insurance company may lose.
Example: the risk of loss for the company is high

Stock
noun
a quantity of something accumulated, as for future use
Example: we still have some in stock

Institution
noun
an organization, establishment, foundation, society, or the like, devoted to the promotion of a particular cause or program
Example: College Ahuntsic is an institution

Asset
noun
items of ownership convertible into cash; total resources of a person or business, as cash, notes and accounts receivable, securities, inventories, goodwill, fixtures, machinery, or real estate
Example: My cottage is an asset that I can sell later.

Financial
adjective
pertaining to monetary receipts and expenditures; pertaining or relating to money matters; pecuniary ; of or relating to those commonly engaged in dealing with money and credit.
Example: The company's financial situation is fine

the investing of money or capital in order to gain profitable returns, as interest, income, or appreciation in value.
Example: We have made an investment lately

Invest
verb
to put (money) to use, by purchase or expenditure, in something offering potential profitable returns, as interest, income, or appreciation in value.
Example: I invest in real estate

noun
the act or manner of managing; handling, direction, or control.
Example: The company has a good work management

the art or practice of an accountant.

noun
the amount of a charge or payment with reference to some basis of calculation
Example: There is a high rate of interest

Credit
noun
commendation or honor given for some action, quality, etc.
Example: I need a credit to finance my house

Fund
noun
a supply of money or pecuniary resources, as for some purpose
Example: I need funds to buy my car

Saving (account)
noun
a bank account on which interest is paid, traditionally one for which a bankbook is used to record deposits, withdrawals, and interest payments.
Example: I will put this money on my saving account

Liabilities
noun
accounting business obligations incurred but not discharged and entered as claims on the assets shown on the balance sheet
Example: I have liabilities in the bank

Tax
noun
a sum of money demanded by a government for its support or for specific facilities or services, levied upon incomes, property, sales, etc.
Example: We pay our taxes every year

Pension

a fixed amount, other than wages, paid at regular intervals to a person or to the person's surviving dependents in consideration of past services, age, merit, poverty, injury or loss sustained, etc.

Example: I will make a deposit at the bank
